Midsummer Nights Dream

Join TSK on Sunday 30th November for Midsummer at The Pavilion, Kiama.
We follow the tangled relationships of four young mortal lovers, a group of amateur actors, and a world of mischievous fairies.

Hermia wants to marry Lysander, but her father insists she marry Demetrius, who is loved by Helena. The lovers escape into the forest in the hope of marrying for love in secret. In the forest, the hot headed fairy king Oberon and queen Titania are fighting.

Meanwhile, a group of actors are rehearsing a play for the Duke’s wedding. Oberon and his trickster servant Puck use magic to reign havoc on the mortals and the actors.

After much confusion, Oberon and Puck undo their spells, true love is restored, and everyone returns to Athens. The lovers are married, the craftsmen perform their silly play, and the fairies celebrate order being restored.
